Popularly known as “ Los Dedos” (the fingers) this masterpiece created by the Chilean artist Mario Irrarazabal in 1982 , invited by the Intendencia de Maldonado (Maldonado’s City Hall) to participate in the First International Outdoors Modern Sculptures Encounter of Punta del Este, it is located where La Brava’s Beach starts (known as Parada 1).

Unquestionably “Los Dedos” represents a typical stroll in Punta del Este, whoever visits the location simply doesn’t leave without a picture of the place.

Transcending all the speculations that can be made the day it was inaugurated , “Los Dedos” are the icon that identify the peninsula.
